Who can make a submission?
Anyone can make a submission about an advertised application during the advertising period.
What is a submission?
A submission is a written statement explaining your views about an application, and how you may be affected if a permit is issued.
The submission will carry more weight if it is rational, factual and specifically addresses the proposal and relevant heritage matters.
A submission should:
- Be made using the public submission form
- Explain your views
- Relate to matters that Heritage Victoria must or may consider, including:
- How the proposal would impact the heritage significance of the place
- How the proposal would assist with the reasonable or economic use of the place
- How the proposal would impact on the conservation of the place
- How the proposal would impact on adjacent heritage places.
A submission is a public document and copies may be made available to other people or organisations, including the permit applicant and the Heritage Council of Victoria.

Halstead, 23 Bambra Road, Caulfield North (VHR H0450)
Application P38761 to construct a new vehicle crossover and circular driveway at 67 Halstead Street and associated landscape works, repairs to the Halstead Street boundary fence, and removal of a tree.

Daylesford Botanic Gardens, Central Springs Road and Fraser Street and Hill Street and Daly Street, Daylesford (VHR H2202)
Application P37129 for the construction of a covered seating pavilion and associated path, located to the southeastern side of the Daylesford (Wombat Hill) Botanical Gardens, overlooking the corner of Central Springs Road and Frazer Street.

Application P39676 for new compliance upgrades at the Ballarat Station Complex including the construction of a new overpass, stair and lift structure to east side of Ballarat Station connecting the platforms and a new accessible ramp and stair to the north building entrance

Application P39619 for works comprising Stage 3 of a restoration program funded by the Victorian Government to conserve significant fabric and upgrade Victorian Trades Hall for compliance, and to support the ongoing use of the building.

Application P39923 for works relating to the Lydiard Street North level crossing and include a combination of retention and/or relocation of significant heritage fabric (with associated conservation works), the decommissioning of salvaged heritage fabric, and the introduction of new elements.
