The Minister for Planning after considering the report of the Heritage Council has, under section 45 of the Heritage Act 1995 determined not to include Power Station B at the former AMCOR Paper Mill (626 Heidelberg Road, Alphington) in the Victorian Heritage Register
To inform the Minister in making this decision, the Heritage Council of Victoria provided a report on 5 June 2017 as required under section 44 of the Heritage Act 1995. Despite having considered the report of the Heritage Council, the Minister found Power Station B not to be of cultural heritage significance such as to warrant its inclusion in the Victorian Heritage Register.
