About the Living Heritage Grants Program
The Living Heritage Grants Program is a Victorian Government initiative. Heritage Victoria administers a grants program for the conservation of state-significant heritage places. The Living Heritage Grants Program supports heritage places which are:
- included in the Victorian Heritage Register
- accessible to the public
Grants of between $20,000 and $200,000 are available for eligible conservation works.

Round 7 is now closed
Announcements of successful applications in Round 7 (2022-23) are expected from July 2022. See resources for successful applicants and browse previously funded projects on our website.

Contact the Living Heritage Grants team cut-off date: 15 March 2022
Program closes: 5pm 31 March 2022

Other heritage grants available
If ineligible for the Living Heritage Grants Program, explore the following government sites:
- Visit Grants Victoria for Victorian government grants.
- If your place is on the National Heritage List, visit the Australian Heritage Grants Program.
- Visit Regional Development Victoria for grants in regional Victoria.
- Visit the Heritage Restoration Fund if your project is in the City of Melbourne, City of Yarra, or City of Ballarat and on the heritage overlay.
