Project summary

A $115,000 Living Heritage grant was awarded to undertake various urgent conservation works including roof and rainwater goods repairs to safeguard the historic Courthouse.

The 19th century building was suffering from significant water damage from the leaking roof, restricting its use. The repairs have restored this community asset for community, tourism and commercial uses.

Following the repairs, the Friends of the Court House Inc. and Latrobe City Council expect to deliver a vibrant and active community centre for the community.
