The Maritime Heritage Unit has a long history of working with volunteers on coastal and underwater projects, and on projects in the HV conservation lab. We regularly work with volunteers from Maritime Archaeology Association of Victoria and Flinders University students.
To get involved with diving projects you will need:
- A recognised diving certification.
- A valid dive medical from within the past 12 months.
- An AIMA/NAS Part 1 qualification
- A completed Volunteer Diver Declaration Form below
