Dimboola and District Historical Society
The 2009 Heritage Council Award was bestowed on the Dimboola and District Historical Society today, in recognition of the society’s outstanding work in preserving and sharing the town’s heritage.
On merit, the Heritage Council of Victoria confers its award on an individual or group that has made an exceptional contribution to Victoria's heritage.
The Society was the driving force behind saving the 1875 Dimboola Court House, restoring the former premises of the Dimboola Banner and preserving the equipment that resides within.
